Harvest Rochester Needs Childcare Help

Take a look at the message below from Brandon Capuano of Harvest Bible Chapel Rochester:

Ministry friends,

I am writing to you because you may have knowledge of people who may be able to help us.

As you know, we are planting Harvest Bible Chapel Rochester. We just had our 4th Core Group Meeting, and we are at 7 adults...and 10 children. And growing. These first few months of meeting together are for the purpose of developing community and like-mindedness as we discuss the kind of church we are going to be. The undivided attention of both parents is vital.

Over the course of the next couple of months, we will develop a children's ministry team who will be able to watch over the children as we meet as adults. As of right now, however, we are trying to connect with outside help to watch our children while we meet.

Here is what we are looking for: junior high, high school and college aged students (or older, if they are willing) who will commit to serving Harvest Rochester for 2 hours on Sunday nights for the next couple of months. With the growing number of kids we are going to have, we will need at least 5 young people per Sunday night.

Here is what I am asking of you: Can you connect us with a few people whom you trust that may be willing and available to serve us in this manner for 2 months? Depending on the number of people who respond, they may only need to serve 1, 2 or 3 Sunday Nights. This would be a huge benefit for our brand-new congregation.

Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions or suggestions.
