This summer, Northridge's Fusion small groups were encouraged to serve with
one of our partnering agencies. Groups served at both CompassCare and Rochester
Family Mission.
Here's what one of the small group leaders had to say about the RFM service project:
Here's what one of the small group leaders had to say about the RFM service project:
"Pastor Barb met us and showed us around the building and explained what was needed. We would be helping clean/organize for the upcoming fall, after summer camps had completed. We cleaned the kitchen, organized a storage closet, cleaned/organized the kid's rec room, computer room, and cafeteria. Two students worked on filing and moving furniture. We ended by unloading a truck making a food delivery too. The kids really enjoyed helping out and knew they were doing good. Although we were a small group - we made a difference. The kids worked with a smile on their face and grateful hearts for this opportunity. When leaving, they asked if we could return next year :)."Way to go teens!
