Commitment
Weekly or bi-weekly involvement in the boutique and some
outside time necessary to connect with community. Commitment needed for four
months at a time.
Requirements
Short orientation and tour of YFC with Program Coordinator.
Self-initiative and somewhat of a type A/Martha Stewart personality.
Summary
of essential job functions
The
Boutique manager is responsible for the sorting and inventory of current and
new donations for both boutiques and general upkeep.
The
Boutique Manager will coordinate volunteers for the improvement of the
boutiques and manage them during the operating hours for weekly Tuesday night
classes.
Provided much room for creativity in development of
position based on applicant’s vision.
The
Boutique Manager is responsible for making community connections with
individuals and organizations who can donate appropriate items for the
boutiques.
What a
‘win’ looks like
When
a Boutique Manager is operating at full potential they are aware of all items
in storage, what is necessary to collect in order for our participants to be
best served. The boutiques not only look nice in appearance but are an
enjoyable experience for all parties involved including volunteers
and young parents shopping.
