MotherCare Training Session

Want to give women facing unplanned pregnancy what they really need? Join a MotherCare Team!

The mission of CompassCare is "to erase the need for abortion by transforming woman's fear into confidence." Many patients come to CompassCare alone, afraid, and in need of ongoing compassionate support. MotherCare is a program where a small team of caring women within a local church connect with CompassCare patients to provide friendship, mentoring and discipleship.

How it Works:
When a pregnant patient comes to CompassCare, she receives a number of valuable resources, including a MotherCare connection in order to support her in the midst of a situation that can be difficult. The patient's nurse will obtain the patient's signed permission, and then contact the MotherCare team leader with necessary contact information. The team leader will then decide who among her team will make the initial contact with the patient by phone or text. That initial contact is the beginning of a relationship of compassionate support, offering ongoing friendship and mentoring.

The Next Step:
Come to a two hour training session on Thursday, June 12 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at CompassCare's office (300 White Spruce Blvd. 14623). Contact Matt at (585)232-3894 or email matt.sones@compasscare.info to RSVP or for more information.
