What Do You Do While There?

I run the tutoring program one night a week.  This involves recruiting tutors, setup/teardown and tutoring.  We usually help the kids with whatever homework they bring in. 

What Did You Enjoy About Your Experience?

I love having an opportunity to be a positive influence in each child's life.  Helping kids work to their full potential and cheering them on when they succeed is very rewarding. 

Why Would You Recommend Others to Serve Where You Did?

I would recommend being a tutor because it gives you an opportunity to share with others what God has blessed you with.  Being involved with the Rochester Family Mission will not only benefit the tutoring program, but it will also help you be aware of the needs that exist in our city.
